George Hedderley

The bell founder George Hedderley posted an advertisement in the Derby Mercury on Thursday the 6th April 1786.  He stated that the Old Bell Foundry in Parliament Street Nottingham had been in business for over 3oo years; thus dating it to at least the 15th century.
