T M Bennett and P Ellis

An advertisement posted in the Chester Chronicle on Friday the 21st of December 1792 gives information on the brass and bell founding partnership between P Ellis and T M Bennett. Whilst Bennett appears to have been in charge of their foundry located in Boughton, outside the city walls on the eastern outskirts of Chester, Ellis seems to have been managing their shop in Eastgate Street within the city of Chester.
